-What are the prices of these shoes?
Average EXW price range is from Euro 90 to 110 depending on style, type of leather, complexity of design etc.
-What is the usual markup/profit margin?
Typically your retail price will be three times your cost. In general this gives you enough profits and covers shipping and customs fees (when applicable) while at the same time keeping the price competitive.
-Will they sell well?
All these shoe styles have been fine tuned over the years, season after season to be very successfull sellers. All the ingredients for success are there: attractive, trendy designs, top quality Italian leather and craftmanship, attention to details and a price that places these fashion men's shoes within the reach of a wide target of discriminating consumers.
-Are these shoes original designs?
Yes they are all original Italian designs. No copies, no replicas. You can rest assured, they are thoroughly tested and exposed products. Great care is taken not to reproduce proprietary top brand designs or hardware, not even by mistake.
-Which is the brand? Can you make them with my brand?
The standard brand is MENGOLI. However, we are proud to be able to brand them with your own logo! Create your own line of products quickly and inexpensively. Just send us the artwork in digital format and we will create a metal stamp to stamp your logo on the leather. Setup costs about Euro 250 one-time setup fee, stamping adds about 1-2 Euros to the price of each handbag. You can also forward your paper and price tags/barcodes. They will be attached to the shoes and boxes here while they are manufactured so that they will be ready for your store's shelves as soon as you pull them out of the box! Private label is the fastest growing trend. Capitalize on it!
-Where are the shoes made?
All the shoes shown are Made in the Marche region of central Italy, one of the world's most famous shoe districts, employing local skilled labour in compliance with EU regulations. Locally tanned leathers are employed. Our area in Italy in fact has some of the most famous tanneries in the world.
-Is there any certification available?
The leathers employed are certified to be non-toxic according to EU regulations. Sample copies of the certificates are available upon request. A declaration of compliance with the CITES treaty for endangered species is available from the manufacturer.
-Are the shoes in stock or do I have to order them?
Stock is limited so we do recommend that you place an order. The items will then be made to your specifications and quantities usually within 4 weeks.
-How do I place an order?
Just contact us describing desired styles, colours and quantities. Confirmation will be given very quickly and then if all is agreable a proforma invoice will be issued itemizing pricing and delivery terms.
-Is it possible to choose different colours and leather types?
Yes of course. The same styles can be made in different colours and different leather types.
-What are the minimum quantities for an order?
For manufacturing orders a minimum of twelve pairs per style per colour are required. That is, for example, if you'd like style "Mantegna" in both brown and black, you'd have to order at least twelve pieces in brown and twelve pieces in black. Each twelve pair can include the sizes of your choice. Minimum total order is 48 pairs.
-Which are the available sizes?
Standard sizes are European 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45. Sizes 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52 also available with a 15% price supplement.

-What is the lead time for orders?
Most orders are completed within 4 weeks from approval. However plan with plenty of advance. There are certain times of year when production is extremely busy and times when things are slower. However we will let you know upon you inquiring. Also consider that if you wish to use particular leathers or colours which are normally not in stock, the delivery time for the leather can be another 3-4 weeks. We do recommend to plan along with the International fashion schedule, for example: Autumn/Winter collections, which go on the shelves in september/october, are ordered in january/february to be manufactured and delivered before summer.
-What are the prices? Do they include shipping and customs?
The average FOB prices are between Euro 90 and 110. You can find detailed pricing in the catalog.
The prices indicated are EXW, Italy. Shipping is NOT included, though we can arrange it for you if you don't have a contract with a particular freight. If delivery is outside the EU, custom fees will be requested for the goods to clear customs. Custom fees are also NOT included in our pricing and they vary from country to country. Please consult with your country's customs office or with your freight to find out rates and any particular documentation required for customs clearance of leather goods Made in Italy. Very broadly speaking custom fees for leather goods range from 5 to 10% of invoice value.
-How are the shoes packaged?
The shoes are stuffed with tissue paper to keep their shape.They are then individually placed in a clear cellophane bag. The pair is wrapped in tissue paper and comes in an elegant cardboard box.
-Who do I pay to?
You will pay directly to the manufacturer, who will send you an invoice. As the manufacturer's sales agents, we will assist you throughout the ordering, manufacturing and delivery process.
-What type of payments are accepted?
Bank money transfer is the standard (T/T). Letter of credit (L/C) for large purchases (Above Euro 25,000) Please note that a 50% deposit is requested at the time of order. The balance is due when goods are ready for pickup. In no case the goods are released until full payment has been received.
-Can you manufacture my own designs?
Yes we can! Making your own shoe designs is fairly complicated as it involves many items, from shoe forms to soles. Unless you are thoroughly familiar with the process and your market we do recommend making variations of existing styles from the catalog to start with. We are however happy to manufacture your own designs. For this purpose we employ a special laboratory for prototyping your designs into samples before production. We usually require accurate 3D renderings of your designs from all views in order to manufacture your protoypes. We follow all particular aspects of your production, sourcing leather, hardware, designers, labels, planning costs and even marketing and branding. Please contact us for details
